Acupuncture can help, through relaxing the body and increasing the energy flow, leading to a reduction in the symptoms experienced.
Severe and long-term chronic illness
This can include life threatening illnesses. As an example, for patients currently undergoing western treatment for cancer or kidney disease, acupuncture can assist with the relief of symptoms from your illness. Acupuncture can also help with degenerative conditions such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, motor neurone disease and muscular dystrophy. Acupuncture is not an alternative to western treatment for the listed conditions; however it can be practiced alongside your current treatment plan. It is advisable to consult with your doctor before your initial consultation.
